Dedication and what has been happening.........

It took me awhile to figure out how to add this video seeing as how I forget things and have to learn them all over again. When I saw this video though, I just had to add it. I want to dedicate it to my brother Charlie. Your a good man Charlie and I love you very much!

">

On another note, as you all know I have been making many paintings and dedicating them to people. I have to put that off for right now. I got so wrapped up in making dedications and working on getting ready to go to Atl. I'm going there to represent those in the Savannah area with health issues. You all probably know that I love helping people if I can, that means alot to me. I had forgotten though that I had a minor surgery planned and had to go at the last minute. My stitches will be taken out next month so no worries! I just wish that I didn't have to go to this thing next weekend with stitches. I hope that I get everything set up in time.

I love the idea of going to SCAD and won't give up on it but the MAIN thing that I am about is helping others. I've decided to donate many of my paintings to help with PKD research.PKD stands for Polycystic Kidney Disease. It affects 600,000 Americans and 12.5 million children and adults, worldwide. There is no treatment or cure, but there is hope. Please go to the following link for more information about the disease. PKD
I had planned on calling around today and doing some things that have to do with that but I have to put it off due to drs orders. I will get back to you on more details though.

My new series and update on my painting.

These are some 9" X 12" paintings (a series) that I have made all dedicated to different friends of mine. I will make more as time goes by but these take time to make. Good for me that I am a full-time artist or I'd never have enough time to make them all. I will share more in the future. If there are any dedicated to bloggers I will add the links to their blogs. Please contact me if you would like for me to remove the links.Any that don't have links, they don't have blogs. If you would like me to remove your name though please contact me.

Dedicated to:Jenn D.

Dedicated to:Kelly M.

Dedicated to:Chris B.

Dedicated to:Trina S.

I have added some purple to the painting that I had in my last post, although that really doesn't pop out enough for me either. When I am done with it I promise to take a picture of it and share it with you all. :)

Hot Pink phone, art and new news!!!

I've painted the bricks that I bought for my tent and will take pictures during the next market to share with you all. :)
I'm going to be selling my jewelry, aceo's, art blocks and a few paintings there!
Not sure how I should set up the paintings. Anyone have any ideas?
I got a brand new phone people!!! Hot pink!!! Wild and wonderful!!! I tell ya, I'm in love!!!
I also got the part of an elf in the hobbit!!! I'll take pictures from it to share with you all!! I can't wait!!!
Ok back to the the art.... here are the canvas's that were sent to me.

This is one of the paintings that I made from them. They are 16" X 20" and 1 1/2" Wide.
This painting shows how you can be blue sometimes but there are bright situations in between the blue times that help everyone each day.

This is one that I need to ask for your opinion on. I'm not sure that I'm finished with it. It just doesn't have enough color for me. It's not bright enough. Any suggestions on what would make it pop more?

On another note, I have started going back to my old Church Asbury. Love the people there!!! It's so exciting. Of course there are those that I don't know but I will get to know everyone in time. I'm going to join the choir which will be loads of fun. I will share any of the video's that we make on here with you all. :) They are having God on Broadway right now. They did a musical the other day was wonderful!!!

Terrorific Tuesday

Terrorific Tuesday is a halloween event online. It was put together by: Alexa Westerfield a.k.a. Swelldesigner
To read more about it please visit her blog or e-mail her at swelldesigner@yahoo.com
Here are the Guidelines:

1. Project can be a new or old idea. There will be no set theme from week to week. You can choose to include or not include instructions in your post, but I do ask that you post a photo and a brief description or explanation as to why you were inspired to make that particular project.

Consider one of the following ideas for your post:
- home décor
- jewelry/accessories
- spooky food and drink recipes
- party and table decor
- clever costumes
- cards and paper crafts
- invitations
- outdoor décor
- pumpkin carving/painting

2. I want to keep this simple for everyone. I don’t want there to have to be a set day of the week that you post your project. For example, if you want to post your project on the Friday prior to October 6th, that’s fine, just send me the URL to that post via direct message on twitter (swelldesigner) or e-mail (swelldesigner@yahoo.com). If you want to be included in the Terrorific Tuesday Halloween Crafts and Ideas Roundup for that week, the absolute deadline is 6pm (Eastern time) on each Monday of October 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th. I will send a reminder on Monday morning on Twitter. Please get it to me each Monday by 6pm, or expect to have your project left off the roundup until the following week.

This project was done last year and was not my idea. A friend suggested it. Due to the fact that I have done many projects like this in the past, I don't remember exactly who suggested this project. I can't take credit for an idea that I didn't come up with though. I don't think that would be right and I'm just not like that.
Some of you may have seen these already but I think their fun. I'll post more Halloween things if I can.
Everyone take care, I hope that you all are having a wonderful weekend!

Halloween Post!

I'm sorry for my not posting in awhile. I just got home from an audition! It was new music and hard to get up in front of people like that. I'm so glad that I did though.
I needed to show myself that I could do it.
Here are some of my Halloween decorations.....

This is Toto. A huge spider is on his head. He is still bright of course but I thought it was funny to add my spider on his head. Say Hi Toto... "Ruff, Ruff wimper"
Me: "Ohhhh Nooooo!!! The spider bit him!!!"

Me:"R you alright Toto?"
Toto:"Ruff" That's yes in doggy language.Toto runs over and hits the play button on the radio.
Music is heard: If happy little blue birds fly.Beyond the rainbow why ohhh why can't I?
Me: "Ohhh Toto, you can do anything you set your mind to. Your a dog but I'll just have to make you wings so you can fly like a happy little blue bird."

I haven't decided on going to SavannahCollegeofArtandDesign or not but even if I do, I'm donating to Charities. For those of you who may not know that is what my art is about. Giving back what was given to me. To learn more about places that you can donate to or health information please visit www.angelasartarea.com and click on HealthLinks. If you have any suggestions as to what I should add please contact me and let me know. It is constantly being updated so please check back. Again any information that may help would be very much appreciated.
Take care everyone.
