I that this is a bit early but I can't help it....My giveaway for 2008 is going to be a magnet!Here is a picture of it....
I took one of my mini-art cards and made it into a magnet! It has hearts on it for Valentines Day and an angel that I cut out from some notes that I wrote.It also has A on it for Angel!! Where as some would throw away a sticker, I added it into art. I find myself doing that with alot of things that some just throw away. The background was made with purple tissue paper that was given with a gift. I used it in art as well instead of throwing it away. Angela, it's so lovely and it's not too soon! I love the texture in the purple tissue paper and I'm an avid recycler too. I recycle everything I possibly can here at home.
I love using "trash" to make art. You're so clever to make this into a magnet. I love it!!....and it does have lavender as the background!!

This is a great idea! However, I just moved across country and have most of my stuff in storage. What I would like to do, is go into as many of the blogs as I can and sign in. If my name gets pulled by anyone as a winner, I will donate $100 to AIDS Foundation in memory of my brother. If my name gets selected more than once, I will up the ante an additional $10 every time it gets pulled (greedy I know, but one can dream!!!) before I became a blogger, I thought I was alone, saving every jar, picking up every rusty bottlecap,bird nest and abandoned egg, rocks, happymeal prizes, using all of the cool tags....I nearly fainted when I realized many artists are this way...creative pack and then share rats. We are what this environmentally endangered world needs. Now that I am collage crazy...wellllll, you don't want to know.
